So my throat kinda itches that every now and again I'd try to cough, or clear my throat, and this older guy colleague of mine - way across the room - imitates me. Every single time. I'm torn between irritation and amusement. I wanna pull at his hair 'cept for the fact that there isn't much of it left, and that's a battle I know I'm gonna lose. And painfully, too.
Last night was a lull. I got home and felt lazy. SHOCK. I settled down beside my nephew who had a marathon of Stomp the Yard, Jump In and Dirty Dancing. AND THEN Ponyo on a Cliff. It's a school night, but I'm a supportive one, so. And as for Dirty Dancing, he was already nodding off by the time the groin- and loin-fest begun. And...he was completely gone when Ponyo. See how supportive I am?
I heard Nobuta wo Produce will be aired in my country. Dubbed in Tagalog, of course.

This isn't a prank. And it's NOT funny.
Lovely how I look at the last 3 mags I had, including Duet Jan2009 and the Potato Jan2009 that I received today, Toma and Uchi's spreads were back to back to back. On all three.
So it's like, my eyes going T H I S wide when I see Uchi or Toma, then my eyes going T H I S wider when I turn the page and find Toma or Uchi.
And Toma looks sooooo Christmas-y on Potato. I want to cuddle inside that jacket with him.
AND! I find it cute how Ohno wrote his holiday greetings. I love his handwriting. While everyone wrote Merry Christmas and Akemashite Omedetou in whole (Aiba wrote in English. yay! now if only he could pronounce 'pineapple' properly), Ohchan wrote MERI KURI!! AKE OME!!! Kawaii, Oniisan!!!!

....The reason I don't lock the downloads in my LJ is because I want as many people to be able to have access to them PLUS I don't want to befriend everybody just so they can download them. And it'll be totally pointless for me to start a community since it's not like I am a one-man subber (MAJOR DUH. I live off lovely translators like a vulture.) So yeah.
I understand if some people just go directly to the download links WITHOUT READING the entire post, but the request for non-streaming is on the video itself, so.....I think it's either some of them are stupid, or just plain dense, or NOT human AT ALL.
I left polite enough requests to take them down, but.....help? If you know her, kindly let her know.

So I slept in this morning, and when I woke up, I read Silvia saying BNS released Nakai's appearance on 5LDK and I was like, "WHAAAT!!! THEY WERE WORKING ON IT TOO!?!?!?!" Then I went to the page and saw it was the one I helped out on. *giggles*
See how excited I was about that project? I did not even bother finding out what team it would be under. Like, I thought it would be some subteam focused on 5LDK. So it was a pleasant surprise. When I found out Nakai was on 5LDK, with Joushima (me and my thing for Leaders) I went straight to Sarah and begged (on my virtual knees) to be made to do anything. ANYTHING!! (well, except translate, of course.)
Couldn't take caps coz I haven't downloaded the whole thing yet. (It's HQ, ba~by!) So totally stealing Sarah's cap.
DOWNLOAD HERE. This is, quite possibly, the hardest one I ever worked on. If you think Nakai+Arashi is bad, you should check out Nakai+TOKIO, ESP when it is Nakai telling the stories, instead of the one asking the questions. OMG. They talk aaaaaaaaall over one another....But this was super-funny. And Nakai admitting he's terrified of Arashi amuses me to no end. No wonder he tortures Ohno on the show.

Last Thursday, we had some sort of a seminar-cum-party. It's, like, an Updates seminar for CPAs. Anyway, in the afternoon, there were games and all that, and there's this one game called Pera o Bayong (money or bag) where they ask questions, and groups of people go line up in their answer. Four choices will be given, from A to D, and you go where you think the answer is correct.

I'm kinda pissed, but I don't want to. Remember that quarterly maintenance of my comp? Well, the guy was new, and when he returned it, my iTunes Library was deleted. Shoot. I wanted to shoot someone. But what good would that do, right? So Imma labor to rebuild it. I have the files on back-up but fixing everything just takes aages.....!

I restrained from making this post, like, two days ago. Because if I did, I'd be spamming many great people's lists. And I'd hate that.
And it helps that right now I'm about to start timing this show for TFS....because ninchan and En-sensei are amazingly fast in translating (it helps to have MaOh as motivation).

I'm really glad I am working on this project. Although it is quite difficult when in between, I find myself spazzing. Who wouldn't, right? Toma. Nakai. Shingo. Kei-chan. Shota. Tamaki. Nari. And there's Tabe Mikako! Takeuchi Yuko! *phew*
Here's the best part. There're still 2 more to go before the whole thing is done! (Sometimes I could be such a glutton for punishment.)
In between timing the senpai-kouhai rivalry and lucky Nakai-candies, I kept going back timing GnoA 35 and smile as Ohno does the jump, hits something against something then say "IT CHAFED!" (*giggles* I am so shamelss.)
I really ought to take banner-making seriously (oh TIME! Where art thou when thou are needed?!) because these ones I rushed are toooo mediocre. But I got the caps I wanted to use, so I take comfort in that.
The glare, oh, the glare!!!! That is the glare of one who is both pressured, then beaten. *rotfl
