Hardsubs of Maou Ep08 and Maou Ep09. Oh wow. Two eps more (I am assuming there'll be 11 eps since the preview did not seem to show the end.)

Remember where Naoto and his cohorts were molested by female comedians? Aherm. Akashiya San-Channel featuring Maou.

I'm kinda pissed, but I don't want to. Remember that quarterly maintenance of my comp? Well, the guy was new, and when he returned it, my iTunes Library was deleted. Shoot. I wanted to shoot someone. But what good would that do, right? So Imma labor to rebuild it. I have the files on back-up but fixing everything just takes aages.....!

Anyway. Drama talk. Be warned. IMAGE-HEAVY!

Code Blue Ep 7 and 8

So, the previous ep made me cry. And I credited Yamapi (partly for it). I'm glad this arc was not wrapped up so quickly. Be realistic. If it was resolved so quickly (Grandma getting better and remembering her grandson, won't that be too...good to be true? Stories like these are better off not turning into fairy tales.)

But I think they are prolonging this arc just to give some humanity to the character of Aizawa. Considering what he so mechanically does at the end of Episode 8 (won't spoil you, but this is too Doctor Burke of Grey's, sans the permission from the doc himself), the writers probably thought to give some soft side to Aizawa whenever he comes a few feet from Obaachan.

I  am not complaining. As much as I appreciate off-beat characters, I still want to feel a bit sympathetic towards characters. Even villains.





This little girl is soo good! She practically waltzed around YamaPi in their scenes. XDD







 
Maou Ep09

Souda's done. Next!

But I gotta say, this has to qualify as the perfect murder on Tomoo's part, the most masterfully executed execution, so to speak. Noriyoshi practically did all the work for him. And the timing is pitch-perfect, because just when Naoto discovers who he really was and is ready to pin Souda's death on him, he'd get the blow of his life by discovering the web of deceit woven around his best friend and sister-in-law and (soon-to-be-discovered) brother.



This cunning was not something one would expect from a weakling character as Noriyoshi. I love character turnarounds. And Eisaku should totally rethink his judgement of his trophy son. There's more smarts in Noriyoshi, although I am sure it won't work against Tomoo's best-laid plans.



He didn't openly admit it, did he. He was so toying with Naoto. XDD




I liked how the confrontation scene was done in some sort of a tunnel. Both were enclosed, no way out except to go back the way they came from, or go out of bounds and cross that invisible line to the other side.

Poor Kasai. I'd sympathize with him, but he was too gullible. I'd say Souda was the brainiest of the four, but he just got greedy. (Just like Ikehata).  As for Yousuke...he just never had the chance. :)

I love these antagonistic encounters. No need for dialogue. These two despise each other.







And what did I say about Noriyoshi's smarts being a momentary thing? Cuz it won't last. This look tells it all.




Tell me, Naoto. Did you honestly think that the man whom you believe is responsible for the deaths of four people while manipulating others soften up just cause YOU GOT DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND BEGGED HIM!?

In this scene I was almost waiting for Tomoo to go "Can you handle the truth?!" and the theme song would play on cue. *harhar*



And I couldn't NOT talk about Shiori. She's that last shred tying Tomoo to his humanity. Only she can pull him back, if she'd push harder and if he'd soften a little. Which he still isn't. It's just too bad for her that he's already used to wallowing in self-pity to actually forget about searching for his own happiness.




Tomoo goes inside his 'comfort zone', in the darkness. Outside, on the other side of the door, where the light is, Shiori stands. He only need to open the door and go to her. But he won't. He won't be stopped anymore.

Ahh...this is so not gonna end well.



...I can't believe this'll be over in a couple of weeks. I hope Ohno gets a new drama yet again. I'm not worried about Toma coz he's a drama casting director favorite. Ohno did a masterful job on this, he deserves more roles. :)

Himitsu no Arashi-chan

I want Sho shuddering, screaming in terror, his eyes bulging out of their sockets with fear, and being generally chipmunk-y adorkable.

Stick with the pairing. JunToshi. AibaNino. And let Sho go on in ALONE.

OH. This was such a difficult episode to cap, because it was mostly in the dark. *sigh*

So basically, the four are to enter the 20-year abandoned building in pairs, but not before some prepping, by an expert on ghost stories. And who else would react the most while the ghost stories are flying?

Nino clearly isn't pleased he's paired with Aiba. I forgot from which show Nino mentioned about panicking because AIBA makes him panic. Was that AnS? Anyways.



They proceed, and what do you know. A pebble brings Aiba to his knees. And the challenge hasn't even started yet!

So they go in.

Nino: Let's go!
Aiba: (You) Go!
XDDD



So the first hurdle was the 'dead guy' on the stairwell, and the two basically tiptoe past him.



In the next corridor, the door suddenly slams shut and...FIRST JUMP. Lolz. Notice how Aiba puts a hand over his mouth to stop himself from screaming. *chortles*

And! They get a call from their AD, about a camera stashed somewhere in the corridor, which they're supposed to use to take pictures of each other in the next room. (That ringtone of a baby crying was so creepy....)

Nino's picture is taken first. He gingerly sits on the chair.

Aiba: From what angle (should I take the picture)?
Nino: Whatever. Just hurry!!!



When it was Aiba's turn, the chair...dropped. Major screaming. LOLZ.

The moving stretchers wigged me out. But Aiba-with-his-hand-on-his-mouth was such a precious sight to see.



The zombie chase up the stairs. Did Nino just take THREE STEPS AT ONE TIME?! His legs weren't that long, were they!



The hands through the walls? I'd be scared shitless myself. :) You're forgiven, Aiba-chan.

NEXT! JunToshi. With hands held.

They simply walked past dead guy. *snickers*



At the 'photoshoot', they didn't have to think about angles and stuff. They actually posed. With peace signs! *slaps forehead*



And when it was little-hot-leader's turn, it was...nothing.

She just WON'T lose the tiara, woould she!? XDD I think this wasn't fair on Nino-Aiba, cuz Jun wasn't scared by this particular ghost, esp when she went "MAou~" on little-hot-leader.

And the verdict!!! The most coward of them, (and gets to pay for all Sho's omiyage!) Mr. Stingy himself, NINO!






Close, Aiba. Real close.

But if it makes you feel any better, Nino. You only lost because Sho wasn't around.

Well, I finally learned (after watching it twice) that Noriyoshi's the most brilliant among Naruse's "minions", if you will. Because through what he did, he was able to get rid of Souda AND Kasai. It will be all over for him though, poor him.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a time in their TFPII guesting when Nino said that. During that takoyaki game. That's all I remember though. :P

Yeah. Noriyoshi is, after all, the smart Serizawa son. Too bad he had to bring out that brain under these circumstances. Never piss off an often-overlooked Serizawa. Lolz.

And he'll get what's coming to him. I almost feel sympathetic for him. Almost. And I haven't watched Ep10 yet, but from the preview, I think the wife's infidelity would be given some justification. Haha!

MAOU was so AWESOME! First I must thank you for your contribution in the hardsubs. Now I must say I feel so horribly for Naruse/Shiori. If it were me, I'd have grabbed him and kissed and made him come back to the good side! But, that would not make a good drama. Man, Noriyoshi...he had it planned out! I was like WTFZZZ!!! I tip my hat to him for coming up with that and to Naruse for having the best laid out plan EVER! What will Naoto do? Man, I can't wait for epsidoe 10. Heck, I can't even begin to take a guess as to what will happen at the end.

....I didn't understand most of what the expert was droning on about in his ghost stories coz he was speaking sooooo freaking fast and my very limited comprehension skills aren't up to even attempting to understand. :)) But the priceless expressions were more than enough! XDD

Shiori needs to stop being a lady and just grab Tomoo. Heheheeee!!! (Oh wait, I was putting myself in her shoes. Aherm).

I didn't expect the pen to have been purposefully dropped by Noriyoshi, though. I thought he was gonna get pinned for it, but then Naoto came up to Kasai about it and I was like, WHOA!!! NORIYOSHI, YOU'RE GOOD!!!

Heh...when I saw that pen fall I was like "OH noes! He f*cked up pretty hard right there." Then here comes Ryou and it made me think this was what he had planned (impressing me once again with his brilliance). LUCKY to be able to watch and understand episode 10! I'll waity for the hardsubs like a good fangirl.

Yeah...I watched the HnA episode and I thought clearly this story may be quite unnecessary...I just wanted them to go in and get scared. Ohno was a trooper. I think he shoulda paired up with Nino since Nino was so scared he could have clutched onto Ohno to protect him. Juntoshi wasn't too impressive when it came to scaring them b/c they didn't react. Oh well.

OMG. Ep10 is AWESOME....!!! (I didn't understand all of it, but it'll do.XDD) Holy moly. The preview for the finale just....JUST!

I've a theory. We all know how Ohno moves at his own pace, right? So maybe his reaction time just works in his favor when it comes to scary stuff. Haha! Slow reaction to things saved him from jumping right out of this skin. XDD

Mini-summary. Hmm...OK. *looks around, decides I'm ready to be shot if anyone else was reading this*

In a nutshell. Mari-san affirms Kasai's alibi and tells the cops they were together when Souda died. So her infidelity was revealed. Noriyoshi gets pix (from Yamano) of him leaving the crime scene. Naoto gets the same. Noriyoshi plans to flee to Paris, but Mari leaves him. Shiori's visions confirm Noriyoshi's crime. Naoto arrests his own brother. Tomoo cuts off ties with Yamano. Tomoo reveals to old man Eisaku Serizawa who he really is. Old man tells him Naoto was repentant and willing to be punished at the time, but IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. Tomoo is shaken by the revelation, goes to church. Shiori begs him to stop. They both cry. He won't. He leaves. Then a red envelope arrives for Naoto, and there are two cards inside. Naoto knows he's next.

Phew.

I was also surprised it was Nino. I thought there'd be at least a tie or something, because most of the yelping I heard was Aiba. hehehe.

...The first ep of Code Blue was sloooooow. I basically just 'slept' through it. I thought it was a weak ep, because that's where the characterizations are supposed to be the strongest, just to grab the viewer's attention, but it didn't work for me. But I labored through the first ones and I'm dealing. :) Still does not match to Iryu, though. Not by a close mile.

What drama. Well, catching up with Iljimae (*is ashamed*), almost done with 3Dads, 1Mom (it'll be aired in my country - dubbed, of course - in a couple of weeks from now), HotShots (but the subs can't come any faster!), Yasuko to Kenji....(heheehheheeh!!! Crack) and I am wanting to start with East of Eden....That looks like something I can really sink my teeth into. XDDD

Yasuko to Kenji! I'm watching it too. I actually like it a lot, though certain someone's overacting is kinda too much.. But Tabe Mikako is absolutely adorable <3 I love her character and her acting in general. She was good in YTM too.

East of Eden has a superb cast. But since it's like 50 episodes I thought maybe it'd be better to wait till like half of the eps have been aired.

Haha. Yeah. I mentioned crack, didn't I? I personally thought Mabo is overacting just as much as Tacchon is 'under' acting. XDD But it's still cute! And even at the risk of Tabe Mikako being typecast in these kinds of roles, I gotta say she's doing a good job at it. :)

I would totally freak out if I lost my iTunes Library!!!! I have put so much time and effort on it!!!!! I understand how u feel.. even if you have backup of everything it sucks. But…gambatte!

God.. we haven't talk about Maou in weeks!! We all knew this was going to end badly.. I had I slide hope he was going to repent.. but nah! I'm so curious how is it going to end? Would he kill Naoto? Is Naruse going to get caught? What's gonna happen for poor Shiori? I feel so bad for her.. the poor thing!

I haven't watch ep 10. I haven't found the RAW yet! The suspense is killing me XD

Hahaha! I do the same thing as Aiba when I'm scared and put my hand in my mouth! Or when I'm really excited! XD I wasn't going to download that episode... but now I'm gonna! Thanks for the great summary as always!

I was! I was freaking out!!!! I was torn between throwing a grand rage and crying!!! But what can I do except sigh in frustration and seek consolation in the fact that I have those files on back-up???? It'll take me weeks to rebuild the library but darn it. Darn it.

I am still hoping the Japanese version would put its own twist to the end and not completely copy the Korean version, just to have its own 'identity', so to speak. :)) I want Tomoo and Shiori having even just one moment of pure bliss together. :) That's all I ask.

I've a few minutes more before Ep10 is done downloading!! I meant to go online earlier to download it but my migraine was killing me. XDD I woke up at 4am, couldn't sleep, took two capsules of meds (thoughts of OD nevr occurred to me) and tried my damnedest to go back to sleep. Haha! I feel a bit better now. Some slight throbbing, but manageable. :)

I've never been in a haunted house, not even in theme parks. I don't want to!! I don't think I scare easily, but I don't want to put it to the test and end up embarassing myself. Haha!!

Mind you, though, if I were forced to go inside one, I'd ask for Ohno to accompany me, cuz only he could find something funny to laugh at while inside. XDD

Come to think of it, if Jun was with Aiba, I think Jun would've scored higher. XDDDD

i had to put-hands-on-my-mouth (like Aiba did) not to hold me from screaming but to stop my laughter burst out all over the house (where everyone still on the bed XD)

and Riida!!! this guy, i wonder if there's something wrong with his nerve a? LOL sasuga Riida - he MAXamazed me again!! ^^

oh and and..i cracked BIG TIME when he calmly ask "How many?" after Dainoji-san finished the ghost story - Riidaaa!!! XD (i bet Jun was grateful for that, it lessen his growing nervousness a bit ne? well, he did snickered at that, hahaha 8D)
