A bit of everythin'...
I understand this might be a tad long but I decided to put it in one post. Bear with me.
A bit late, but some pimps.
Lots of MMAs coming out. Still the best Arashi variety, if I may say so. I sorely miss it.
From STORMY team sub, MMA 81, where Aiba wins at life, Sho was officially declared LOUSY, Captain got lots of birthday love from his members, and he just lambasted all the crybaby-kids they ever worked with on the show. YES. DOWNLOAD HERE but must join first.
*pats Sho-kun* The truth hurts, doesn't it? Don't worry, you're still lovely.
And a couple of MMA collabs with CK,
yuckie_chan!!! I'm still in seventh heaven that she trusted me with these. Seriously. Arigatou gozaimasu. *bows*
MMA 104. Children's Dinner. Where Nino made me want to make my own pizza toast (I'll do that this Christmas, I promise), Sho did not disappoint, and Ohno was called a liar. DOWNLOAD HERE, but must join first.
*pats Sho-kun* I know you tried your best, and anyone who puts their heart, soul (and concentration) into cooking should - in theory - win. But Nino has the more skillful hands. Sorry.
MMA 107. Another Children's Dinner ep. Where Aiba's carrots are dry, and Ohno's lettuce are pure love. *cackles* And three geniuses share tips on what to do when a girl cries in front of them. (The last answer's pure genius.) DOWNLOAD HERE, but must join first.
*pats Sho-kun* Apologizing is good and gentlemanly, but I dare you to do it Ohno's way. I dare you.
FANCY BEING A BLENDER??? I DO.
So I slept in this morning, and when I woke up, I read Silvia saying BNS released Nakai's appearance on 5LDK and I was like, "WHAAAT!!! THEY WERE WORKING ON IT TOO!?!?!?!" Then I went to the page and saw it was the one I helped out on. *giggles*
See how excited I was about that project? I did not even bother finding out what team it would be under. Like, I thought it would be some subteam focused on 5LDK. So it was a pleasant surprise. When I found out Nakai was on 5LDK, with Joushima (me and my thing for Leaders) I went straight to Sarah and begged (on my virtual knees) to be made to do anything. ANYTHING!! (well, except translate, of course.)
Couldn't take caps coz I haven't downloaded the whole thing yet. (It's HQ, ba~by!) So totally stealing Sarah's cap.
DOWNLOAD HERE. This is, quite possibly, the hardest one I ever worked on. If you think Nakai+Arashi is bad, you should check out Nakai+TOKIO, ESP when it is Nakai telling the stories, instead of the one asking the questions. OMG. They talk aaaaaaaaall over one another....But this was super-funny. And Nakai admitting he's terrified of Arashi amuses me to no end. No wonder he tortures Ohno on the show.
Oh wait. It's Ohno torturing him. Hmm.
I demand Arashi on 5LDK. Now. That'll be, like, the 7th Level of Hell, for a timer but bring it on.

FINALLY watched Twilight.
Two points:
I am glad it was waay better written than the movie.
And nowhere did the line "YOU DAZZLE ME" appear.
I say it now. Kristen Stewart wasn't well-casted. She was passable, but...I found her...boring? Or the makeup people didn't do their job well. She was too pale. Sure, she was the suffer-in-silence type, so she doesn't go around much, but yeah...she was almost as pale as the Cullens.
...Who were gorgeous. I talked a lot during the movie, making this and that remark, which is OK, since everyone was noisy. It was packed, the cinema, and when we came out, the line for the next screening was looooo~ng already.
At first glance, Peter Facinelli's Carlyle resembled Tom Cruise. Only better-looking. Than Tom Cruise. IN GENERAL. And possibly taller. Funny, I don't recall thinking Tom Cruise's Lestat was good-looking. Oh wait...maybe coz Brad Pitt was there too.
I wanted more focus on the Cullens. I guess that wasn't considered significant in movie-length but....I wanted more. Alice was perfectly translated onscreen. I loved Charlie on this one. Bill was actually fun. Jacob was....Jacob.
Going in, I wanted a vampire movie, which was wrong of me to want, since I knew this wasn't strictly a vampire movie, and the film did exactly that: focus on the love story.
Robert Pattinson, I really liked as Edward. His voice was exactly as I pictured Edward's to be (although I wouldn't say no to Edward suddenly speaking with the British accent, no sirree). There were oohs, aahs, and practically screaming everytime he appears onscreen, or gets close to Bella, or they look at each other. I am willing to bet many were hyperventilating. When they kissed, I know for sure nosebleeds happened.
Most of the audience came in pairs, so I felt for the guys when their dates swooned over Edward. Really. I pity them.
Back to the movie. There's chemistry between the two leads, but not really enough to suck me in. The romantic lines were cheesy, but - thankfully - not as cheesy as the one on the books. (I was threatening the screen. DON'T YOU DARE SAY "YOU DAZZLE ME" OR ELSE I AM WALKING OUT OF HERE.) They didn't, thank goodness.
Amazing cinematography. Many scenes are postcard-worthy. Webshots-like. Lovely, lovely place. That's one thing I appreciated about this film, that the locale of Forks was made to be a character by itself, breathing, pulsing.
And the music. Love the score. It was great hearing Chester Bennington's vocals again. Yay/ *off to hunt for the OST*
So....there'll be a sequel...and another...it'll be a franchise, of that I am sure. I just hope that, unlike the books, it won't crash and burn.
* * * * * * * *
Last Thursday, we had some sort of a seminar-cum-party. It's, like, an Updates seminar for CPAs. Anyway, in the afternoon, there were games and all that, and there's this one game called Pera o Bayong (money or bag) where they ask questions, and groups of people go line up in their answer. Four choices will be given, from A to D, and you go where you think the answer is correct.
I joined.
At first, everyone was asked. And the questions are like those asked in quiz bees. The first was to classify which of four names are actual names of moths or insects. I got that one. There were other questions, like the scientific name of eggplant, the term meaning 'instruction' in the field of arts and science, the new national dance of the Philippines, the hardest thing to understand in the world according to Robert Einstein, etc....
Then I found myself in the remaining three. Along with two middle-aged women from other agencies. And they made a rule where no two people can choose the same answer. So if one goes to one answer first, no one should join her there. Pick another answer instead.
The last question was: How long does it take for the sunlight to reach the Earth's surface?
Hell if I know.
A: 8 minutes
B: 60 seconds
C: 1 week
D: 1 month
Hell if I know.
I was thinking: 'speed of light, speed of light....that's superfast, right?' so I head to letter B.
But the older woman had faster legs (on heels. I was in sneakers. Shame on me.) and went to B. The other went to D.
I had no choice, so I picked A.
I stood there, resigned to my fate.
"The correct answer is.........."
"Letter A."
EH?
*laughs*
I won 500pesos. Not a large sum, since it was just a fun game, but it was FUN!
On my way back to my seat, I was like, "Thank you for going to letter B first, ma'am!" to the older woman. I should've gotten her name.

anyway just wanna say thanks for subbing MMA eppy! that is my most fav variety show from them. (next to VS. heh)
ohh.. i cant help myself but to laugh at your description of what happened during your game. could totally picture it.
btw: cant wait for twilight! it still haven't shown here yet! coming soon on 18 Dec!
most importantly thanks again! =D

I was also laughing real hard the whole time I was being given my prize.
you enjoy yourself at the movie! Dec 18....that's still....ages away!!! Where are you, anyway?

Picture - Nakai + Arashi + TOKIO. Imagine the chaos...but also how fun would it be! Thanks for all your hard work with the subbing!
no subject
The idea of Nakai being the one interviewed instead of being the interviewer already told me it'll be something special. You should've seen me beg Sarah. lolz.
no subject
I haven't seen the movie yet but a lot of people are saying that Kirsten Stewart's voice was monotonous the entire movie. o_o
I picture Alexis Bledel or the girl from A series of unfortunate events as Bella. But I don't know, Kirsten Stewart looks like Bella until she starts talking. haha
On another note, it seems you are a victim of the two syllable nickname. XD I was too. Horrible. Some of my aunts still call me that until now.
no subject
I know I won't. lol.
Hmmm...yeah, i guess you can say that....but then again, in the book, she was also quite....monotonous....especially as the books progress. At least in my opinion.
I still think they should've casted someone else as Bella.
Yeah, I am! But thankfully most of them just go with Jhing now. Until I meet people who knew me as a kid and they go, "jing jing~". I want to scream, "that's a ten-year-old's nickname!!!"
What's yours?

I don't get women who can walk (not to mention run) fast when wearing high-heeled shoes.
But the game sounded a lot of fun :)

Yup, haven't even started hahaha.
T^T
You?
And holy ---- how do you have time for all that subbing??
no subject
You?
Me?
....
what list?
LOL.
I am planning on going out today, maybe take a look around. Which would probably prove futile because I just might end up looking for the nearest place to sit down and read something.
we~ll......
The ones with CK were like......worked on, already? Like...I pre-time for her so the tedious part is done. Besides, it's the really-cold season out here right now, and that means my insomnia season too, so....might as well. XDDD
I'm nuts, aren't I.
no subject
sorry, my comment is only complaint...^^;
zutto by news, in what album or single is that?? there's none in color...help??
no subject
Robert Pattinson...i think he can improve. I definitely think he can. IF he tries.
I think you're referring to the film Interview with the Vampire, where Tom Cruise played the vampire Lestat? With long blond curly hair? Yeah....that's what I thought too, if you made carlyle sport long hair.
Still, I'd think Carlyle would look hotter than Tom Cruise.
Zutto....I think it was from the TOUCH album, their earlier ones....when Uchi was still with them. :)

*ish scolded* WAH! I'm used to the like 50-100 question ones on myspace! So this was short to me.
Oh why can't AU phones be available in my country?!
I KNOW RIGHT! i bemoan this fact constantly. I would buy an unlocked AU phone and use it here with my sim card, but it's like $500-$800 just for one phone! That's a bit ridiculous even for a hardcore Arashi fanatic.
I've yet to watch Twilight but I won't be going in with any preconceptions b/c I didn't read the books nor do I plan to. So YAY for love and vamps!
X-mas shopping is eh...I'm too busy with exams right now to think about seriously shopping. I haven't even made the shirt I promised you yet. I've got the material and everything. But no worries, I'll prolly do it Tuesday and then it'll take forever and a day to reach you I'm sure. :/
no subject
*dies*
I don't even bother checking out how much it would cost to buy the phones and have it shipped to my country and modified. I just knew the price would be atmospheric. Besides, I haven't even joined the lottery yet.
GOOD FOR YOU. You'd enjoy the film better. I could've enjoyed my twilight movie experience more if i weren't praying every five minutes for that line NOT to be said.
Haha! And I haven't even started my list yet!! So yeah......didn't we already reach the conclusion that we're both LAME (but cool!) people?!

I read Silvia saying BNS released Nakai's appearance on 5LDK and I was like, "WHAAAT!!! THEY WERE WORKING ON IT TOO!?!?!?!" HAHAHAHA!
And yes.. Nakai afraid of Arashi.. HAHAHA! That is call respect...??? XD
And OMG Joushima.. he's like... like.. so good! XD They make fun of him so much.. and it's so funny! XD GO RIIDA!
Jing-jing not asking but.. *giggles*
Did I ever say I love DECEMBER? Coz it's the month AFTER Ohno-month, it's Aiba-month, and it's Christmas! YAY. DITTO! XDD
Have you started your Christmas shopping? If so.. you're my hero! I have no idea what to buy!

YOU SCARED ME. I was thinking, 'Ohcrap, all my laboring and straining and someone beat us to it! I should've been faster, I shouldn't have taken so damn long......!' Then, of course, it turned out it was ours. LOLZ.
What surprised me most was Nakai saying he's envious of Sho. Watching him in Utaban with Arashi, that never occured to me. Maybe because Nakai already has his hands full with Ohno sitting beside Taka-san?
I'm soooooo liking Joushima even more. :)
DON'T ASK. Better yet, don't start singing THAT Christmas carol. Else I'll hunt you down.
Nooooooo~!!!! I don't know where to start!!!!!

How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
30 minutes You're pretty fast. I can get ready in 30 mins if I'm really hurrying but usually my prep time is an hour and 30 mins.
how is the Christmas shopping going? I hope I can still go shopping. Damn, I'm so overly broke because of those trips. But, I'm not regretting. I guess that has been my Christmas gift this year.

And I lose a lot of hair, too, but they say it's normal since it's thick. I have thick hair, and add to that, very many strands.....Uses way too much shampoo. lolz.
I guess I got used to my parents nagging at me to HURRY!!!! all my life, so I can go in 30 minutes.
Haha!!! Two overseas trips, right??? Me, too, I keep thinking Taipei was my early Christmas treat to myself. As for shopping. Geez. I don't even know where to start. And I hate being in way too crowded shops, so good luck with that. XDD

I will spend a great time with mago mago!! I really miss these arashi episodes H___H

Saw your name on it too, and I wondered if you'd mention it here ~
It totally had the best stories I've heard in awhile. Nakai-sama. Thank you so much XD I was hoping and waiting that someone would sub it too, since the dialogue was going MUCH too fast for me to catch. It's like Nakai brings a speed-talking bug with him wherever he goes.
And me being shamefully unfamiliar with the status of the senior Johnny's groups, this episode seemed to have been made especially to educate the poor unfortunate masses like me T^Tb
...Twilight. I've been hearing a lot of mixed reviews about that one... Better than the book, you say?

I gotta give it to Nakai. He knows how to make a show 'move', whether he's the MC or the guest.
....Better WRITTEN than the book. :) As in most adaptations, there're some parts where the book's better, and other parts where the film did it better....as for the writing, I prefer the film's.

don't ask why. :) (I still have mine relaxed or rebonded- if I'm rich so it'll be super duper straight)
MMAs! haven't watched the subbed ones yet. I remember Sho-kun playing with the kids outside- the one where they were pulling on some kind of flag? basta it was so cute ;)
soundproof measure that NEVER worked. :) i wanna download them ALL.
and that means stopping this clubboxfull of Kat-tun appearances courtesy of my sister, wadja think??no subject
My hair's stubborn. I remember having it curled when I was younger, elementary grades. A month later, it went back to straight.
Yep. That was it. MMA 104. I love when Arashi become kids. Not that they aren't already, but....
KAT-TUN over Arashi???
You wanna die?

I miss MMA, especially the children's dinner episodes. Haven't watched MMA 104, but I'm sure Sho tried hard and deserved to win. Has he ever won a children's dinner competition?
*pats Sho-kun* Apologizing is good and gentlemanly, but I dare you to do it Ohno's way. I dare you.
Sho was very gentlemanly, as expected, and I can't picture him doing what Ohno did. Ohno's crying face was so cute, I really wanted to give him a hug! But I don't think I'll cry with the person though, it's just too awkward.
I've only read the 1st book of the Twilight series and still haven't seen the movie, and most people are saying the book is better. Despite the mixed reviews, I still want to check out the movie for myself though, when I have time. Still haven't started Christmas shopping, can't believe it's December already!

....i don't remember ever seeing a Children's Dinner comp won by Sho.....but I can't say I've seen all of them. Haha!
The movie's still worth watching. Go for it.
Ugh. Christmas shopping. I went to the mall today, bought a gym bag to give my friend, planned on going around to look for others for my other friends...by my feet had a mind of their own and the next thing I knew, I was having Gyuten Don at the resto. XDDDDD

OMG I didn't know Peter Facinelli had a role in Can't Hardly Wait! (My guilty pleasure movie XD) He changed so much. For the better of course. I love the blonde hair on him. :D And because I like Robert Pattinson, I won't say anything about him anymore. Except maybe agree with you on the voice. I wouldn't complain on Edward having a British accent. :P
There were oohs, aahs, and practically screaming everytime he appears onscreen, or gets close to Bella, or they look at each other.
Ugh, I experienced that. Not that I'm not capable of doing that myself, but I guess in a movie theater that's a bit unpleasant. Idk, rly. *shrugs*
Enough Twilight blabber. Why so many Sho doses? It's not like I need more Sho for him to be my
permanentniban. :P(I might take those during the weekend :Dv)
LOL my comment is long as well. XDno subject
HE WAS! He was the arrogant bastard-son-of-a-bleep. Funny though, coz I remember him in that film being shorter....but maybe it's coz he was standing in a scene next to the giant Jerry O'Connell.
Sho doses.....well...coz he's fast becoming my niban and did I tell you how hot he looked in person? Like....sizzling!!!

i watched Twilight today.. and yes i agree.. Bella's character was okay.. but she didn't left much impression (to me at least).. Edward was tempting.. esp when he's thinking whether he should the kiss her or not.. but if i have to choose between him and Jensen Ackles.. i think i'd still choose Jensen xD haha.. i haven't read the book but i think Carlyle and Alice's character are splendid..
and i think i've watched all of the Kodomo no Bangohan eps with Sho in it.. or almost all of them.. he had never won.. not once (T-T) thank u for helping with the subbing though.. i'm in the middle of downloading 5LDK ^_____^

Oh. No-brainer. Jensen aaaany damn time.
In the book, I adored Alice. And I think the film version Alice was spot-on. Wish she had more screen time, though.
Really? haha! POOR POOR SHO.
I'm glad he fails. It makes us laugh and love him even more.

Hah ^_^ This post made my month!
And I was just signed on today after a long week of work (maybe wasn't very long, but it was like a century) and not seeing Arashi too >.
