In my parallel universe...

30-day Arashi Challenge
day 20 - Whatever tickles your fancy

This begs the question:
"What if I never knew of Arashi?"

Rainbows would be mere bowers of color in the sky.

I would've finished - or at least kept up to date with - LOST, Supernatural, Smallville, and Gossip Girl.

My wardrobe would be mostly blacks and blues.

My most commonly used programs on my computer would be MS Word, MS Excel, and Windows Media Player for videos.

The bulk of my fandom-related expenses would be DVDs and CDs.

I'd probably own a Jonas Brothers CD.

I would take one look at a fish and the first thing that will come to mind is "FRY OR GRILL?".

One wall in our den would be devoid of an Ohno and, in its place, would probably be a family portrait. LMAO.

I'd probably be a huge Super Junior fan.

My "magazine shelf" would be filled with COSMOPOLITAN mags.

I'd still be of the mind-set that men shouldn't have longer hair than girls.

My Twitter feed won't be as fun and funny as it is everytime I open it.

My Japanese vocab would not extend beyond Oishi and Ohayou.

My wallpaper would be one of Bryce Larkin. (damnthatwassorandom)

....

I won't have this LJ. And I wouldn't have 'met' YOU.

I was nodding all throughout your entry. XD amazing what Arashi can do, really.

I often wonder about this. I'm pretty sure I would have been caught up in the Kpop world had I not known Arashi. Would I have gone to that SuJu concert here? Would I have been glued to the TV rewatching Gossip Girl, Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, and Disney Channel? Harry Potter would have been my main fandom still and God knows there's almost nothing new except for the theme park.

The most I would have known about Japan would be sushi and sashimi. My Jpop knowledge would probably be limited to Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki and Samurai X theme songs.

I WOULD HAVE WATCHED BOYS OVER FLOWERS KOREAN VERSION.

Honestly, I started being more happy and more at ease when I found out about the five boys. It may sound weird to others, but they really influence life in some way, in different ways in different people. It's a whole other world, aside from your family and friends. But it's the same thing, when you talk about something that makes you happy. And who says you can't find friends in the internet? HELLO. <3

I <3 this entry ate. (and also, UWAH and EHHH?! have been my expression since I knew of its existence too. XDDD)

... I haven't watched a single episode of Korea's BoF. Only the first half of Ep1. I see bits and pieces when I get home and my cousins are watching it but i never even sat for longer than 3 minutes to check it out...

Right, right, right? I don't remember being this... involved with any fandom/group before. EVER. And I am just glad I 'discovered' them. :)
