What if... again.

Strike three.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SUZ!!!!

Glad to have made your 'acquaintance'. You've no idea what you've gotten yourself into, and I do mean that in a good way. XD Most importantly, HAVE FUN.

[livejournal.com profile] loissama  asked me this previously, and I thought, AGAIN, just for kicks....

What if you can attend a movie premiere (NOT ARASHI-RELATED. *snickers*), what movie would it be? It could be an already-made film, or an imagined one.

Mine?

I'm not a hard-core Star Wars fanatic, but I'd like to attend a Star Wars movie premiere, just to get the feel of it, to experience lining up DAYS before the actual premiere outside on the streets, surrounded by people in Darth Vader costumes wielding light sabers....

Or on Pirates of the Caribbean 4+, just to see Johnny Depp.

Or on THE HOBBIT, just to see PJ, Philippa Boyens, Fran Walsh, the guys at WETA Digital, Viggo and the Fellowship of the Ring. OK, they might NOT star in it, but one of them's bound to attend. XD

What a fitting question. I just attended the Canadian premiere of Yatterman last night.

I'm not a big fan of movies in general, but if I have to pick, I'll go to a Harry Potter premiere, just because I like the series.

How was it?!

HP, huh. That seems to be a favorite. Some peeps of mine from here thought I was gonna pick Twilight and I gave them "the look".

no, no. I couldn't give you "the look". :) I was referring to a friend and colleague James and Lala, when I asked them the question and they asked me back. :)

Fufufu...I thought it was me. :)

It was great. The theatre was packed and the audience response was amazing. Producer Chiba introduced the movie dressed in Sho's Yatterman costume and he was hillarious. Miike made a video for Canadian fans since he couldn't be there. I won't spoil the movie, but it was really good and there were quite a few jokes in parts of the movies you wouldn't expect.

Oh, Twilight. I'm suprised you didn't pick that now that you mentioned it. I thought you love vampire movies.

Damn. How I wish that film would actually be released here, but I doubt it.

I... do love vampire stories... I guess I was just influenced by the book because I read it first and got sorta disappointed with all three, that kinda dulled it for me. I did enjoy the movie, though. I shouldn't have read the books FIRST.
