Hands on hips, Sho surveyed the wide array of pots and pans before him.

Sara peered over his shoulder.

"What is that?" she asked, pointing at the first one on the tabletop.

"A saucepan," was his automatic reply.

"And that one?"

"A skillet."

"And this?"

"A double boiler." Sho frowned, turning to look at Sara. She wasn't playing with him, was she?

But she was nodding, thoughtfully peering at the utensils.

"You don't know what they are?" he asked, incredulous.

She leaned her head to one side, then shrugged. "That's why I asked."

"But you're a girl," he pointed out needlessly.

"Are all girls supposed to be born with kitchen knowledge?"

He didn't know what to say to that, so he just shook his head, still disbelieving.

"So," she said, "can you cook?"

He snorted. He could think of many ways to answer that question. "Yeah, I cook."

"Are you any good?"

Warily, he looked at her. She's being serious!

"That depends," he said slowly. "Have you watched any of our shows?"

Sara blinked. "Arashi has a cooking show?"

"No, no, no," he said quickly. "I meant, have you seen any of our shows where we did some cooking?"

"No. Not really," came her quick reply.

"How 'not really' is 'not real-"

"Never."

He breathed, half in relief and half in disappointment. More in relief, really.

"Well, in that case, yes. I am a pretty good cook."

I'm actually just here to ask for, uhm, holiday ideas. Lolz. I am putting this out there.

Who wants to get Christmas postcards or Christmas cards? Nothing swanky, nothing spectacular (coz I'm not an artist, unlike someone we know), just simple Christmas greetings on a card. :) Well, if you are, give me the following details:

Your name/nickname or what you want me to call you:
Your complete mailing address:
Major fandom you belong to and your favorite (not necessarily Arashi):

Note that this is NOT an assurance that I will actually be able to send something to you. You know, RL might assert itself way too late, BUT I WILL TRY MY DAMNEDEST. Not just my hardest, but my damnedest.

You can leave the info on the comments (I won't screen, though, sorry). Or if you are not comfortable with that, email to me: dvampyrlestat @ gmail . com.

Oh, it'd also help if you answer this question:

"What makes (or will make) this particular Christmas different or special??"

Now excuse me while I figure out how to create some boughs of holly......

Yup. You don't need to answer those three Qs any longer. XDD We are so on the same wavelength anyway.

Ahhh....wow. Thanks! XDD Hmmm.. I don't mind you using my office address. I actually prefer that, since I am mostly at work anyway, so I get to receive them in person, instead of the postal service dropping it off at home when I'm not there. (plus it's an excuse to rub elbows with the looker-of-a-mail-guy, so.)

Oh. That's understandable. I have some friends who don't celebrate Christmas too, in the strictest sense of the word 'celebrate', but they still join in the fun. And indeed, YAY for meeting friends!!!!! And on Christmas too!!
