dvampyrlestatI received my ARASHI IS ALIVE book from YesAsia (had I ordered it from CDJapan, I would've gotten it a couple of days earlier. Lesson learned #__).
And believe you me, I still haven't opened it.
Ma: What is that? Is that the Ohno photobook?
Me: No. The group one. Ohno's is still to be shipped.
Ma: But there're pictures of Ohno in that one, right?
Me: ....of course.
Ma: Open it.
Me: (firmly) Tomorrow. You'll see it tomorrow. Tonight, it's mine.
Seriously. I feel bad blowing her off tonight, because lately she's been feeling really really down. (Hopefully I can get to talk about the WHY, soon.)

Shaking with emotion, Charles slid off the stool and left the bar. He never introduced himself to his father, never said a word. Not then, not ever.
I asked Charles, "How could you leave without talking to your father?" His voice got very flat, as if it hurt him to answer. He said that when he looked into his father's face, he saw Arthur's eyes -- the same cold lack of feeling. And he knew that his own father had never loved him, and never would.
....This was taken off James Patterson's "Sam's Letters to Jennifer", which I love, and have read so many times already. My colleague borrowed it and just gave it back a week ago, and I never did get around to putting it back on my shelf. (Well, now I shall put it back.)

* Can I copy-paste? No? Ok, here goes:
- extremely diligent
- insanely dedicated
- glutton for punishment
- super nice (or has a LOT of tolerance)
