In the scene that ended all scenes (not literally), I saw a slight difference from how Mawang ended, a shift in perspective. (But that's just me overanalyzing and seeing things that aren't there...call it my Haley Joel Osment moment.)

But I won't make a proper entry, ONE: because I don't wanna spoil anyone, and TWO: because I really ought to get ready now because I'm meeting someone at 1pm and it's already 11:30! omgmaoumademeaslacker.

...Naoto rubbed more on Shiori than I (and anyone else) expected. Boy, can she RUN! ...and now there are two black butterflies....And Ryo sounded so...mature? on the CM. XDDD

That scene was so heart-wrenching....and I love that Ohno did that scene without a lot of talking and simply acted with his eyes. And HAND. lolz.

....for me, it was more, "rarely do we see a girl touch (HUG!) Ohno." ehehehehee...

Ah yes. And when he tried to call for help, and Naoto stopped him by touching his hand. But Tomoo/Ryou's hand was bloody at the time. Still, the thought that ran through my mind was "Ohno is so tanned!! And Toma is so (untanned!) fair!!!!"

I have not seen Mawang (though I already have a copy and had been sorely tempted to watch a lot of times!) so the whole ending was a surprise to me! I was crying the whole time (the whole episode actually) and I'm still a bit sniffy until now but it was just so good! I couldn't ask for more.

I'm also curious with your observation about the slight shift in perspective. I think I need to watch Mawang now to see for myself. :)

I was crying while watching it too. :) So my mom left to do the grocery, and I watched, and when she came back and went "How are you?" I was sniffing all over the place. She gave me a weird look, then checked out the screen, saw Ohno dead and went "WHAT HAPPENED!?" lolz

Maou is special for me.

Been an Arashi fan since about November 2008 (too late, huh!).
when I was too stressed with exams and courseworks, out of nowhere I just typed 'arashi' on youtube, and the rest is history.
First Matsujun dominated my head, then comes Nino (who from Wikipedia I found that he's over-talented in almost everything), then finally my heart is settled on Ohno. Why?
Because I watched Maou.
I literally cried whenever he cried (on the movie) and gasped like a seal losing its breath whenever he turns into "maou".
Off the drama, he's cool, doesn't talk much with his mouth but conveys many things with his art. Kakkoi ne~
I've always thought: Lord, this is the type of man I want to marry.

Okay, a bit over-statement there but, that's the fact :D
