I blame mee_goreng for fueling my budding OTP. Really. OTPs were never my thing (only found out the meaning of the acronym a few weeks ago...Yes.).

But the blame's not entirely without gratefulness. COZ IT'S FUN!!! lolz.



Taishou is cocky. He should keep this up, if only to look this hot. 



He made Yankumi laugh (and probably wish he was in her class. Aherm.)

I love her for thinking (and saying) that it won't be any good WITHOUT OHNO.



Have you guys noticed lately how he does this when embarassed/shy/put in a spot? Reach for the hair at the back of his neck.....



Then came the talk about Jun's rings. Apparently, he 'injures' Sho when they do a high-five...



...and then Aiba whenever Jun hits him over the head. 

If you ask me, though, in Aiba's case, it would be self-inflicted. It's mainly due to his bakaness that the DoS hits him over the head so much. 



And what does the DoS do?

Be the DoS that he is.



*sigh*



Even Keio boy ain't spared. Poor Sho. He did not see this coming. :) First Aiba outs him on his jeans--wearing habits, and Nino just piles it all in. :)



And Riida is not helping AT ALL.



Being the good (or gullible-around-Arashi) sport that he is, he demonstrates.

CK (yuckie_chan) will be subbing this so YAY! I think Sho-putting-his-jeans-on was the clincher.

So I've watched bits and pieces of it. I've resolved to watch it continuously without interference later tonight, but a few thoughts.

No, I didn't buy the DVD. I just leeched it off the wonderful people at news_jpop.

The fountain in the middle of the Dome was astounding. WOW. What next? JE concerts are really pulling out all the stops, eh?

Nande Nande Dame. Sho and Nino came out. Sho kept  teasing me with glimpses of his torso. Next to Tegoshi, he looked soooooo manly. And Tegoshi looked soooo girly. *hides* Shouhei and Ken-Ken rode in the same cart. Cute! Tomo-chan and Kazu-chan are really friends. :) Now all the crowd lacked were Shun and Nari.

Oh, wait. They're not Johnny's. *rolls eyes* Good to know Kitagawa doesn't have the monopoly on hot young guys. XDD

Speaking of Tego...he sang Ai Nante solo. I LOOOOVED that song, and while I agree that he provided the lung power in that, what made me love it all the more was that Ryo and Shige sang a ballad and actually sounded good.

...And they didn't sing it here with him.

Although, I preferred Tego singing this song ON THE RECORD. Granted, he did quite a good job on this one. The voice is there, the lung power...sometimes he just goes flat. SOMETIMES. Which did not escape me because that is how much I love this song.

I shouldn't be overly critical, huh, since this is Johnny's we're talking about.

Still, I enjoyed it. They're definitely improving as performers, but I think they need to build more rapport. Their MC was kinda strained. Maybe coz I'm so used to Arashi MCs...

Totally random, though! My dream song collaboration would be....OHNO and TEGO. If they can add in Sakamoto, I'll die happy.

Ahhh, i've yet to watch Music Lovers... I'm always late in watching everything so no surprise that i haven't seen it. lol. from the captions and caps you have I look forward to watching it though, thanks!

I also loved the rest of your entry, not sure why but I always get happy when I find that Arashi fans like NEWS too. Seeing how many Arashi fangirls there are, NEWS just doesn't get enough love, in my opinion. Wanted to mention a bit about their MC though, compared to Arashi... Arashi has for the most part 4 very talkative guys, NEWS on the other hand... Pi and Massu are very quiet, Ryo really only talks when Shige says something b/c he likes to tease him and Shige talks b/c he corrects something baka Koyama says and really Koyama's the main one who talks. Tesshi just stands back and laughs at everyone. Oh, and when he talks, he usually talks like he's better than everyone else and Shige usually has something to say to that. lol. wow, yeah, i'm such a NEWS fan... lol, sorry about that. just a little explination of why it might seemed strained...

As for Ohno and Tegoshi singing together... wow, I would definitely buy that single! Adding in Kanjani8's Subaru would be cool too, that guy can sing really well.

I like NEWS, I think they have good songs. Certainly not the best singers, but they have Tegoshi and Massu and, in some moments, Pi and Ryo. :)

Well, I think the other NEWS members would probably talk more once they reach that level of ease or comfortability with the other members. They did have a rocky history, their group, so I guess that contributed to them not being enmeshed with each other fully just yet. But I'm pretty sure they'll get there.

Shige's slowly coming out of his shell, didn't you notice?

Lol, yeah, they aren't the best singers but i love them for trying... Koyama and Shige have actually been going to lessons lately, and i've noticed Koyama is getting better. or maybe since I love him so much i'm just thinking he's getting better. lol. Pi is actually quite good! I never really thought he was but then I watched their Never Ending Wonderful Story con dvd and was impressed! as for Ryo... *thinks of him singing remioromen's 'konayuki...* i love him for trying... lol.

Rocky history, indeed! doesn't help that they weren't meant to be a group that was gonna debut... but i do love that Johnny put such random guys together b/c they are slowly starting to be closer.

Shige... wow... he might just be the most changed since the group's debut! Ever since Pi took him out drinking for his 20th birthday, he's changed for the better! not that i didn't love the dork he was (still is) with Kei but he's matured. lol, to say that the most mature one in the group matured more seems funny. haha. Did you see the scans for his butai pamphlet? i think i love him a bit more just for how amazing his photos are now and how he loves making random faces. I would so love to see him and Ohno in a butai, with their blonde hair and funny faces! lol.

Yes! I did notice Koyama improved in singing! I think in Koya and Pi (and Ryo)'s cases, it's just a matter of picking the right song for them to sing...unlike Tegoshi (and Massu, generally) who can sing anything and make it sound good.

Like....Ryo. I enjoyed his CODE immensely. I like his voice, but not really his singing, but give him angst-ridden songs, and he can use his voice to his advantage.

I think Shige was actualy the first one I liked in NEWS....because when I was watching the backstage stuff in their NeverEnding Wonderful Story DVD, he was a bit reserved, but you can tell he has more to offer. (Plus he's smart, so YAY.) I did see his pamphlet scans, and man he's slowly making his own name! I sure would like to see him work with Ohno on stage soon. That'll be amazing!

Lol, Massu and Tesshi can def. sing any song. i've read that Ryo sounds better with eito... but i haven't gotten into them enough to know.

Shige was interesting in that dvd! that dvd is what made me a (Kei lover) NEWS fan... that hotel room part with KoyaShige is part of what did me in. lol. 'tabai!' I kept looking at Shige and thinking, 'wow, he's pretty and has such clear skin...' but in the end I feel for Shige's best friend. haha.

I haven't heard enough Eito songs. And the few I've heard....Baru's voice rose. :)

I won't say I'm a huge fan of anyone in particular in NEWS...but I do like looking at Massu. He's so squishable, and I've decided I want him for my little brother. :) Shige, I admire for his brains. And how he's....un-idol-like?? Tee-hee. And Ryo. Very good actor, I gotta say.

I liked how he was bullied by Ryo in that DVD, with all those meat piled into his mouth. And he still ate them. :) The Koyashige part....ah. That's a classic. I have absolutely no complaints with these two having their own show together....I hear they host recent Shokura eps, right? Too bad I don't watch enough of those. :)
