I blame mee_goreng for fueling my budding OTP. Really. OTPs were never my thing (only found out the meaning of the acronym a few weeks ago...Yes.).

But the blame's not entirely without gratefulness. COZ IT'S FUN!!! lolz.

If you ask me, though, in Aiba's case, it would be self-inflicted. It's mainly due to his bakaness that the DoS hits him over the head so much.

So I've watched bits and pieces of it. I've resolved to watch it continuously without interference later tonight, but a few thoughts.

No, I didn't buy the DVD. I just leeched it off the wonderful people at news_jpop.

The fountain in the middle of the Dome was astounding. WOW. What next? JE concerts are really pulling out all the stops, eh?

Nande Nande Dame. Sho and Nino came out. Sho kept  teasing me with glimpses of his torso. Next to Tegoshi, he looked soooooo manly. And Tegoshi looked soooo girly. *hides* Shouhei and Ken-Ken rode in the same cart. Cute! Tomo-chan and Kazu-chan are really friends. :) Now all the crowd lacked were Shun and Nari.

Oh, wait. They're not Johnny's. *rolls eyes* Good to know Kitagawa doesn't have the monopoly on hot young guys. XDD

Speaking of Tego...he sang Ai Nante solo. I LOOOOVED that song, and while I agree that he provided the lung power in that, what made me love it all the more was that Ryo and Shige sang a ballad and actually sounded good.

...And they didn't sing it here with him.

Although, I preferred Tego singing this song ON THE RECORD. Granted, he did quite a good job on this one. The voice is there, the lung power...sometimes he just goes flat. SOMETIMES. Which did not escape me because that is how much I love this song.

I shouldn't be overly critical, huh, since this is Johnny's we're talking about.

Still, I enjoyed it. They're definitely improving as performers, but I think they need to build more rapport. Their MC was kinda strained. Maybe coz I'm so used to Arashi MCs...

Totally random, though! My dream song collaboration would be....OHNO and TEGO. If they can add in Sakamoto, I'll die happy.

MEMEME!! I WATCHED XDDD!!!
I liked the songs they did, the talks had me cracking up, and they did a CM for each member - I'D NEVER SEEN THE AIBA ONE BEFORE.
And Nino's dress... XDDD
Did the same thing for the NEWS DVD, heard that Massu came up with the water idea and albiet initially being ignored it turned out quite pretty ^^

Torrents are usually pretty slow, depending on how many seeders you have. But the popular ones are lightning fast. It also depends on your torrent downloading/seeding program, and internet connection.

But I'm actually commenting because I realized that you and jeffer are the same person (I think I knew this before but the knowledge just sort of came in and went out almost immediately), and I wanted to say thank you again for proofreading the timing before. And also to thank you for your hard work on Maou (which I'm thoroughly enjoying as a completely shameless leacher). And because I'm adding you as a friend, and I hope you don't mind. =|

I guess that is the factor....NEWS lacks that rapport, that bond that Arashi shares. And their willingness to be made fun of...I don't see that in the NEWS dynamics. :) Gather five guys with different personalities but with the wonkiest of humor and they mesh.

Well, NEWS is trying, though...and I gotta commend KoyaShige for obviously putting in a lot of effort in their MCs. (cuz Pi's no help at all.)

Torrents depend on number of seeds and the speed of the internet connection. Sometimes they're slower, sometimes they're faster. I-I don't understand it completely to be honest. XD

I just loved how the boys addressed their concerns with each other on the talk part. As many said, it's like a mini-Arashi concert; it never even failed to include crack. LOL.

I'm downloading a 1.2GB file via torrent (my first ever) and it says I have 33 minutes left...the speed fluctuated along with the number of seeders....Ah, I love learning. lolz.

These guys can make absolutely anything work with crack. :)

as for torrent, I use the utorrent downloader (which I have read is the best torrent downloader and works like a gem for me)..as already said, the speed depends on the number of seeders and your connection. But I find it easier to download huge files through torrents than MU or MF. Best thing is that it doesn't really matter if I pause downloading for days or even weeks. Plus, when there are quite a number of seeders (like for our jdoramas), the downloads are lightning as compared to MU or MF :)

I'm just not used to it, I guess, what with its dependence to seeders. I'm kinda used to MU's amazing speeds for me. :)

So I guess that means I'll download those with higher seeds ratio. Hah. I love learning new stuff. XDD

And I guess I was such a fool for downloading something as huge as 1.2GB with only 5 initial seeders. Haha! Now there're 18....and I've only 30 mins left. yay.

Yay good for you! Don't worry i found out about the meaning of it last year, when i started into pairings... LOL.. There are another one: OT3. I think you'll get what it means? ;) Canon pairing is more like Ohmiya, which is an obvious pairing. Juntoshi is subtle so i don't think if we could categorise it as canon pairing. I'm sorry if i've tainted your mind with Juntoshi muahahahahahaha *doesn't sound too sorry at all..*

Apart from that, there's on certain occasion when he's ____, he'd blinked his eyes or sort of scrunched up his nose. Something (which i vaguely remembered what) would trigger him to do that, just like when he's shy, he'd touched his hair at the back.

I've seen her as bubbly in G@me and pretty spunky as yankumi but she's truly an elegant lady. One of the lady guests did point out about there having casualties if Arashi does this close-to-the-fans thing more often. :) I was actually surprised there didn't seem to be any groping when Jun and Aiba stood in the midst of the audience. Those girls had extremely strong restraint!

I used to see those kinds of jeans here in my country years ago, but mostly ladies' jeans. They could fool you, though, but you can quickly tell they aren't real. Sho's was....genius. I mean, even the leather thing hanging was PRINTED!!!

YES! There's that, too, touching his beautiful nose when he's embarassed....

Ahhh, i've yet to watch Music Lovers... I'm always late in watching everything so no surprise that i haven't seen it. lol. from the captions and caps you have I look forward to watching it though, thanks!

I also loved the rest of your entry, not sure why but I always get happy when I find that Arashi fans like NEWS too. Seeing how many Arashi fangirls there are, NEWS just doesn't get enough love, in my opinion. Wanted to mention a bit about their MC though, compared to Arashi... Arashi has for the most part 4 very talkative guys, NEWS on the other hand... Pi and Massu are very quiet, Ryo really only talks when Shige says something b/c he likes to tease him and Shige talks b/c he corrects something baka Koyama says and really Koyama's the main one who talks. Tesshi just stands back and laughs at everyone. Oh, and when he talks, he usually talks like he's better than everyone else and Shige usually has something to say to that. lol. wow, yeah, i'm such a NEWS fan... lol, sorry about that. just a little explination of why it might seemed strained...

As for Ohno and Tegoshi singing together... wow, I would definitely buy that single! Adding in Kanjani8's Subaru would be cool too, that guy can sing really well.

I like NEWS, I think they have good songs. Certainly not the best singers, but they have Tegoshi and Massu and, in some moments, Pi and Ryo. :)

Well, I think the other NEWS members would probably talk more once they reach that level of ease or comfortability with the other members. They did have a rocky history, their group, so I guess that contributed to them not being enmeshed with each other fully just yet. But I'm pretty sure they'll get there.

Torrent speed just depends hugely.
I find torrents more convenient, but for this kind of project MU might be better. Personally I like MF best because I don't run into the "wait two hours" rule and I can download multiple parts at once. It may have disadvantages to you as an uploader though, I don't know.
The reason I think torrents might not be as good for these projects is because it's inconsistent. Instead of being hosted at the website, it's hosted by all the users that have it and are signed in. If a lot more people have it than need it, it'll go super fast. But if very few people have it, or it's getting old and people want to get it out of their HD so they stop hosting it... then it can go very slow or stop altogether.
You work with Stormy, though, don't you? I thought you did. They've offered Maou as torrents, they could probably tell you some better statistics.

I'm slowly getting the hang of this whole torrent thing. :) And if there's one thing I learned, it is to download via torrents those videos that are 'selling like hot pancakes', so to speak. :) Still, though, if push comes to shove, I'd still prefer MU.

I am personally finding it hard uploading to MF because it acts up sometimes, or when I'm close to completing an upload, it just stops. As for downloading, it sure can be fast. But MU stlll aces it for me, esp if you have Premium.
