Half a wish granted is still a wish granted
Two Himitsus ago, I wished for 'Sho in a haunted building ALONE.'
I got half of that wish. Sho in a haunted building.
But not alone.
Still, crack.

Oh, wait. Wrong cap.
...but that does not mean I'll change it. *sticks tongue out*
(I've no idea why I keep capping these kind of ep, when it's dark and not so HQ. NOT AT ALL HQ. *sigh*)
This time they go to an inn with a hotspring, and here came Otani-san the ghost story expert yet again, prepping them for the scarefest.
If I'm not mistaken, they'd have to bring a doll into a shrine, but the only way to get there is through the haunted inn.
The scarefest barely even started, and one of their ADs just clanged a pair of cymbals. All get scare points, except for you-know-who. (No, he's not Voldemort. This one is prettier, and has more hair.)

First team to go in is Sakuraiba minus the mushroom. (ok. I just had to use that. *blinks at Rosa*)
They step inside gingerly, carefully, fearfully.
You know what's wrong with this setup? It is that Aiba takes a step back and Sho is on the front. Aiba had the experience, Sho was like, "Is this normal?" "Is this how it is supposed to be?" and Aiba just lets him ahead. It's like I was watching a lamb led to its slaughter.
But Sho ain't a lamb. He's a scaredy...cat. Who goes by the name of Bambi. (OK. I'll stop with the lame KCE references.)

Aiba's sticking to his old strategy: cover your mouth with your palm. (Yeah, right, like THAT actually worked the first time around.)

No wailing-babies-for-a-ringtone this time, but the shrill ringing of the telephone was jarring nonetheless. I was surprised Sho didn't roll back down the stairs. Then the ceiling breaking open with a ghost hanging upside down. Ok. Aiba, Aiba, AIBA!!! CALM DOWN!

So when you enter a room and suddenly find many futons with occupants all covered up on the floor, what would you normally do?
I'd immediately head for the exit.
Not these two.
Wait. I did use the word NORMAL, didn't I?

SEVEN. Seven times Sho-chan said "Yabe...Yabe....YAB-BE..." (Yes, I counted.) And that's just on camera. Who knows how many more were cut?

Sho: yabe (7x)
Aiba: ...I don't wanna do this anymore....!
(sounds + Sho still saying' yabe')
Aiba (looks behind): SHUT UP!
Uhm....Aiba....who're you telling to be quiet? Sho?
They go through another room with many doors, and Sho, the intelligent Mr. Perfect lays out arguments that end with 'keep the door open', and the other wall just BREAKS. In comes Otani-san yet again.

...I keep saying Otani-san. Was that his name? Bleh.
Aiba's really getting the scarepoints this time.
In the next room are two jars, one of which holds a key that'll be used to unlock a door that'll lead them outside. I was laughing at how they go, "Ready...go...!"
Then Sho steps back screaming as a hand reaches from the jar. Aiba is jolted too. But only because Sho was UWA!!!!

Aiba is on his knees, begging to PLEASE, ENOUGH ALREADY!!! Ahh...I love the look on his face! (and don't your knees hurt, my dear?)

Seriously. Those 'ghosts' crawling towards you is even worse that 'ghosts with arms extended forward coming towards you'. Major creepy!!!
This is where Aiba piled on the points. See, he was the one holding the key, but he fumbled, (dai panic!) and so Sho ended up being the one wrestling with the keys to get the door open. So Sho had something to concentrate on other than these 'beings' coming at him. Aiba, on the other hand, can do nothing but scream at the ghosts to stop, and at Sho to HURRY UP ALREADY and at the world in general for putting him there.

They manage to get through the other side and proceed to the shrine to return the doll to its rightful owner.
Then they all just....come, appearing from all directions.

In Arashi, it is a well-known fact that SHO IS THE SPORTS LOSER, right? And that AIBA HAS THE FASTEST (not to mention LONGEST) legs.
So somebody explain to me how Sho managed to run so fast, and outrun Aiba in the process.
Oh, wait. Must be Usain Bolt's aura rubbing off on him....

See? Even the boke is amazed at Sho's running ability.

Next is the threesome (I am not even goin to elaborate on that fact.)
Just. Didn't you guys notice how Jun kept talking when they first entered? (I've been told that's how most people mask their terror. I think I'll agree with that.) And didn't you guys notice how Nino was unusually quiet, none of his witty remarks?
Cat got your tongue, Kazu-chan?
So Ohno goes first, walking in like normal. Jun is quite ok. Nino is...shuffling his feet, holding the doll up high like some sort of a shield.

In the first scarepoint (I keep making words up, sorry!) where something breaks out of the wall just before one passes it, Sho and Aiba both yelped (alright, screamed). When it was Ohno's turn...

CRASH.
All three: .....
Ohno: Wasn't that a bit close (dangerous)?
Jun: What are you mad about?
*rotflmao*
Someone please explain to Captain that in a haunted house, one is supposed to be SCARED, not ANGRY.
So Jun and Ohno start discussing the dangers, and the Nino butts in because hey, he's kinda scared, ya know.
I wonder how it'll turn out if it were only Jun and Nino....

Look how Nino holds the doll. Kasu-chan, that's not a cross. It's not gonna ward off any evil that threatens to end your magic-card and DS-playing life.

I am honestly beginning to wonder: DOES OHCHAN HAVE ADRENALINE?
He gets his hand grabbed by something (a hand, too) gross and he gets irritated, not surprised, not shocked, not startled. IRRITATED.

And the old hag that brought Aiba to his knees and sent Sho scampering down the stairs? barely registered in Ohno's radar.
It startled Nino, though. Jun just...stared.

It's always nice to see the prankster getting the one-up on him. Makes you think the world is fair, after all.*smirks*

SEE HOW THEY RUN!

Yes, Nino dear. That was perfect. Whatever you say....

And the ranking!!!!!!
Who's the toughest of them all?!

Even Sho was surpirsed at the outcome, poor Chipmunk actually thought it'd be him! Thank goodness for keys, eh? And he just jad to rub in how Aiba kept begging for him to hurry at the door. XDD

*sigh*
He ought to do an experiment, A no Arashi. How long can Aiba-chan stay inside a haunted structure without pissing his pants?!

I like his cap. I WANT his cap.
I end this with Sakuraiba. Without the mushroom.

Coast is clear. Meaning, my mom's asleep. I can now indulge in the photobook. aaaahhhhyeahhhh....

Great episode! Sho was looking specially HOT/SEXY! I wonder if they really piss their pants ??? XD
Sakuraiba amazing as always! I NEED to make Sakuraiba icons ASAP! And from this episode. So many priceless reactions!
I want to see Ohno and Aiba together in there! I mean... Ohno is not scare of ANYTHING.. and that itself is scary! XD I wonder if Aiba would have some kind of influence on Ohno there... Aiba is so nervous all the time, with his hand on his face! Waaaaaaaay too cute!!
Thanks for the caps Hon!!

The line, "THE WORLD IS A SAVAGE GARDEN" is from Anne Rice's book, a line spoken by the main character, the Vampire Lestat, the source of my username. :)
GO read aatash's mini-translation of this ep!!!! Sho did not talk about pissing, he talked about SPRAYING! SPRAYING ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! rotflmao
If it were Ohno and Aiba, I don't think he can make Ohno panic. I actually think Aiba wouldn't reach the double digits. :)
No problem! I had fun doing it anyway!

There are some not so good layouts, it can take you days to pick up a good layer, but there are some that are actually good. You know clean and simple.. ^_^
Good line and so true... savage garden...
Yeap, I already read her translation! hehehehe BAKA SHO.. Spraying! hahahahhahahahahahahaha
Oh.... that's true... Aiba would probably be less of a Scaredy Cat! Hihihihihi

I'll stick around until I find the perfect layout. This one'll have to do for now.
Spraying! HAHA! That cracked me up!!! I think he was about ready to cry. And their exchange, like they even contemplate not going on with the challenge. hihihi!

They are both such scaredy cats!!!! It's just too cute!

The headers she put are magnificent already, but you know me, there has to be OHNO on my layout. LOLZ.
.....I am actually looking forward to more "Arashi-outside-their-comfort-zones" episodes. XDD

It wouldn't be your LJ if you don't have a Ohno header! I just can't imagine that.. scary!
"Arashi-outside-their-comfort-zones" is THE BEST! I like HNA, but I prefer the latest episodes! There so FUN to watch! Plus I love Aiba with his hand on his face XD

I kinda miss the informative format of the HnA, too, but if they keep dishing these funny eps, then I'm in!!
