Because it's the hundredth...

...and that really doesn't mean anything in general but.

I just wanna capspam, 'kay?!

The guest this time is Suga Shikao, (according to Wikipedia) a Japanese singer and songwriter, the man behind a couple of SMAP's songs, Arashi's Aozora Pedaru and KAT-TUN's Real Face.

...I was surprised with the choice of guests on their 100th episode. I was expecting a comedian of some sort, or someone more mainstream. But I was not disappointed with Suga Shikao, because he held his own against our boys.

To start off, let me just say Aiba is looking exceptionally hot in this ep, in black and white. :)

But...color-coordinated much? Sakuraiba living up to the hype?

Let me gush on Sho's hairstyle. Coz I love it.

Ok. Gushing (not) quite over.

It's mushrooms today, people! (Goodness, those things cost a fortune over here.) There's all kinds of -take...but the tamagotake (egg mushroom???) grabbed most attention because...apart from it being Super Mario-ish, it...stinks?

And they just kept smelling it over and over...(I can't begin to explain how this cap reminded me of how newlyweds drink wine at their wedding.)

Take a look at little-hot-leader's face. Somebody tell me what they think he is thinking.

Kids. Don't try this at home.

Sho: It's huge.....
Aiba: It's...It's kinda...The shape's kinda strange...
HIT.

But I'm sorry, Nino, but we really don't want any of the two to go home. Not when we're having this much fun!

So they talk about Gasu (Aiba's fault, the nickname) and his image, which involved using his guitar skills to get them laydeez.

This, ladies and gents, is how little-hot-leader does the riffs. I just can't say exactly what Nino thinks, but then again, neither do I care, coz my eyes are Oh-chan-riveted.

Summer's ended, and he got too busy, but there's one thing he really really wants to do. No matter what.

Fireworks. (cue: Shobot's fireworks air gesture)

And the staff prepared kiddy fireworks, but the guest is totally fine with it. He just wants fireworks, damnit! So, he gets it.

Ok, so after the fireworks, this thing popped and after the Sakuraiba moment a while back, this just threw me into a fit of laughter. They are really males, aren't they!!!

Then came other fireworks. A hanamichi (was that some sort of fireworks truck?). Some round thing that pops with the cutest sound ever. And, probably the most senseless one ever, a police patrol car.

See? Even Ogu-san thought it was lame. "Bakayaro!!!"

Moving on to...Shiodome Aibaland-o!!! In short?

Ai-land-o!!!!!

(Whoever sent this one in ought to be given lots of rainbow props. No, really.)

Aiba explains the mechanics of the 'game', and ends up being the first victim. (You all know this but) The lines written are to be lyrics to be sung depending on what musical style Gasu will be able to pick from the box.

AibaRap is embarassing. He said it himself. I know why. It's called "Yo! overkill".

Ogu-san is the coolest grandpa EVER!!! Check out his pants in this ep. lolz. And wow. He has some voice. Come to think of it, he did use to be in a band in his heydays, right?

Matsumoto Jun is no Bocelli. Thank God.
But I gotta admit, I kinda liked how he sounded. He wasn't...whiny?

"This is the 6 o'clock news." *rotfl* Sho should try this one, too. "This is News ZERO!!"

Nino and his hamburger hands. Very handy. Pun fully intended.

Nino's turn. (Oh I wish they'd made him cosplay a maid costume while saying that line!!!)

Gasu must be SOOO THANKFUL it wasn't any of his songs being butchered by these five.

Didn't I tell you? Those hands. Very handy.

So is the dog. But I'd pick the hands any time.

Ohno-kun!!! I love how he just stepped on to the podium. That, my friends, is a PRO.

(No matter what this clip says, I love Ohno rap. Remember Cool & Soul at The Dome? And now Re(mark)able?)

(Gasu now knows NOT to write rap for these members.)

I did say PRO, right? The 'do-it-now, be-embarassed-later' type of Pro.

Who dares wins.
Both dared.
I'm not sure who won.

Sho's turn. Smart move, Jun. And Ogu-san is right. Rap for Sho would be boring. After all, that's his forte.

But the moment I heard "love ballad", I was ready to drop dead from laughing. And Sho hasn't even started yet!

Now Gasu knows who to write rap for.

If not for this chair, I would be on the floor, too, same as these guys.

Gasu is sooo game! Yes, even after Aiba air-kissed (is there such a word?) him.

But trust the songwriter to NOT stick to the 'lyrics' given him.

AibaRock!

A few inches closer and I swear Nino would've sustained injuries from being hit by a mic stand.

But Aiba's brand of rock is just....rawking funny.

The boy is so into it. *shakes head*
I wanna see him try rockin' it at that haunted hospital, though. *evil laughter*

Here, sweetie, before I forget. I asked someone and this is what she gave me.

みんなスパイシラチナが好き

I'll still ask Cindy and let's see what she'll give me, then you can take your pick in case they're different.

Lea started singing when she was a wee child. And Miss Saigon was her biggest break. Ironic, huh. Many Filipino theater actors broke into the international scene by playing Vietnamese roles. haha!

Have you seen Miss Saigon? Or heard the songs? They staged a local production in my City a year ago and I watched it and I was blown away, so I cannot imagine what it'll be like if Lea was the one doing the role of Kim. She's a national pride.

Yeah. She's having a hard time. :) Maybe we can do a double release of the last two eps of Maou, who knows. :) Thanks for waiting, though. :)

Ah yay! Do that!!! Last weekend I walked my legs raw looking for a shirt. Haha! I settled for a white one. It was so hard looking for an icy blue shirt. And the ones I saw have prints over them. I saw a white one that I liked and there are a bit of flowers on the lower corner but they're alright. And yay! I'm well on my way to having that shirt!!! :)

I hope so too!! Hope so!!! Praying so!!! Going crazy praying so!!!!

Yupi!!!!!!!! Thanks! I'll wait for the other translation and then I'll choose!

Nop, I haven't seen Miss Saigon nor heard the songs. I'll look them up and let you know what I think! I supposed they are good, we have similar taste in music.

Which one is she!? I would like to send her a comment and tell her thanks for the translations and the we'll wait for her rl things to solve! It's always good when you get encourage by someone... even from strangers, ne? hehehe

I hope I can find an icy blue one. I already have to many white t-shirt. Yohooo the t-shirt is gonna be ready for the con then!

Pray girl! yes! I'm praying too! ^_^

Our translators are on a major 'moving-and-settling-down' spree. So I'll ask Cindy for the other translation when she finally finds an apartment. Haha!

Oh you should try to listen to them! I know I promised some songs to upload for you. and When I find some songs on my HD I'll add them in. :) Soon. Real soon.

She's aatash (LJ username, too). She just made a major move from Japan to the US and getting her papers fixed and having to deal with shit with different offices. You know how bureaucracy craps out on you. :)

This sux....coz I just heard from someone that the Shanghai con tix will be done via balloting, quite like the Japan cons. You book, then they raffle/draw and those picked will be the ones to get tix. That just narrows my chances coz I don't have the best of luck when it comes to raffles. I hope the wind changes and blows in my favor.....*sigh*

[identity profile] silgari.livejournal.com 2008-09-12 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
That's ok, don't worry! take your time uploading the songs! ^_^

Ohhh.. aatash! I've been in her LJ. Bureaucracy.. yuck!

Don't say that! When it comes to raffles and things like that I'm very lucky! I'll send good vibes and all my lucky vibes to you! But first... just imagine getting your ticket on the mailbox. Believe!!! YOUR TICKET! Picture it in your hand! The mind is powerful! No more "That just narrows my chances..." ok? Trust me!!! It WORKS! Stay positive my friend! And keep praying!!! I'll keep praying too! ^_^

[identity profile] dvampyrlestat.livejournal.com 2008-09-12 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
ohgod, you are positively POSITIVE! I LIKE!! HAHA! Anyway, the ballothing rumors are still rumors, nothing official yet. But I hope they're not true and those who booked get first dibs on the tix.

Oh well......I'll just leave the decision to the powers-that-be. :)

[identity profile] silgari.livejournal.com 2008-09-12 02:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Hahahaha... yes I'm positively POSITIVE... and it's contagious! hehehe! You'll have your tickets!

btw.. just finish watching Maou... and I'm like O_o.. didn't understand the last image. I'm just shock by the end, it was really good!

[identity profile] dvampyrlestat.livejournal.com 2008-09-12 03:27 pm (UTC)(link)
....it's 11.30 at night here right now. :)
And I wasn't able to watch Maou via TVU coz I had to work on a speech being requested of me....*cries*

But all's good. When I wake up tomorrow there'll be downloads available and I can spoil myself rotten! Lolz

[identity profile] silgari.livejournal.com 2008-09-12 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm waiting for the raw too! I miss the first 15 minutes! You're probably sleep right now! Sweet Ohno dreams! Talk to u tomorrow about Maou then! ^_^
