In anothe or my totally-not-lucid intervals, I thought CNY stood for something like an anime convention, or a comic convention, or something similar. Coz I hear people going, "I'm going to here-and-there for the CNY", or "I'll be doing this during CNY."
I don't recall exactly when common sense kicked in and I put two and three together.
Chinese New Year.
OMG. Am so stupid.
HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR EVERYONE~!!!
Sure, the parade this morning almost made me run late again, but I got to work with 34 seconds to spare, so....all's good.
