Non-JE.

Not a day goes by that it doesn't rain over here.

...that sounded mighty petty, considering the plight of those people Ike just swept over. *hangs head in shame*

I'll talk about my weekend instead.... )

To complete the pimpage....Let's ask for YT's help, shall we?
SAME GROUND - MY FAVORITE KITCHIE SONG. EVER. Check it out.

RUN - I wished she sang this one. *sigh* Amazing vocals on this one.
FIRE - The very first song I heard from her that made me a fan. She sings it live HERE.
BULONG - Probably my favorite Kitchie song sung in Filipino. It's just uplifting....Bulong means "Whisper" in Filipino. I'd translate, but dang, I suck at my own mother tongue.
WAG NA WAG MONG SASABIHIN - this is where she broke through mainstream. It was used as the theme of the Kdrama "Lovers in Paris" when it was aired here. It means "Don't ever, ever say."

Ok. I'll stop now. Mediafire's giving me headaches with uploads. And I am having a headache dealing with the fact that I don't pay much attention to my mobile phone and tonight that I NEED to SMS my friend, I dig through my bag and realize I forgot my keita in my drawer at the office. And my folks deleted this friend's particular phone number on their phones and I don't really write down phone numbers anywhere and whyohwhy do I remember only TWO numbers, mine and my mom's?

Karma. My phone is punishing me for neglecting it.

Oh. I did say non-JE, right? But I'm just gonna say this.

I'M GLAD TO HAVE BEEN WITH ARASHI ON THEIR NINTH YEAR, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING ON THEIR TENTH WITH THEM.

Really, I feel like I am leeching too much. Lolz. The wonderful people at the various LJ upload comms are just fa~ntastic, to be sharing all those things that make me scramble and wish uploads and time are moving in a parallel line SIMULTANEOUSLY.

Sharing some videos I converted into .mp4 (iPod format) to fill my pod...(that's my problem, how to fill the space). Got the raws online from other peepz, or cut them myself...Anyway, I will try to credit as much as I could remember. In case that does not work, somebody give me a nudge if this is your raw....and I shall credit.

JPop on your iPod...Yay! )

Not too long a time ago I made THE LIST. And it was (in)aptly entitled "THINGS TO DO BEFORE I DIE." Now do not let me hear my Mom say that or she'd be all over me for even contemplating it, regardless of the truth that it is an eventuality we all have to face; it's just a matter of WHEN and HOW.

Wanted: Dead or Alive being my favorite Bon Jovi song notwithstanding, I always felt that a Bon Jovi gig sans I'll Sleep When I'm Dead is NOT a Bon Jovi gig. Needless to say, I was hoping one of the American Idol 6 contestants would go for it. I should've crossed my fingers more.

Chris Richardson sang Wanted, though. It was good, but not good enough for me. Aaahh! I'm too critical for my own good at times. But OH.MY.FREAKY.GOODNESS. Blake Lewis rocked my world with his hip rendition of You Give Love A Bad Name. He was so damned good that I completely forgave them for not doing Sleep.

I've always rooted for him since Day One, so that explains this ear-to-ear grin I have on my face, even a day after the competition....

Bottom 2 says bye-bye in a few minutes. I only hope Blake stays on in the Final Four. *crosses fingers, and everything else.....*

Thanks to RICKEY for the MP3s of the performances of the Final 6. (he's one of my angels, too.)

edit: BLAKE is safe.

YAY!!!!

Another week!

Bye-Chris!!!!! (I hate feeling smug while saying it. Lolz....)
Till next!
